Directions

Driving to Gatineau Park

The Park is open year-round, as are the municipal access roads, although some parkways and access roads are sometimes closed to motor vehicles to support recreation in the Park. In the winter, the parkways are closed to traffic and used as cross-country ski trails. If you’re driving to Gatineau Park, consider carpooling. Parking lots fill up quickly, especially on weekends.

Taking the bus to Gatineau Park

Visiting Gatineau Park without a car — it can be done! Major transit companies in the National Capital Region offer routes that pass near the Park.

On Saturdays and Sundays during the summer, the NCC offers a free shuttle service to the parkways area. In partnership with the NCC, Transcollines is also offering a new free transportation service to Breton Beach on Saturdays and Sundays this summer.
