Stops

The following stops are located near Gatineau Park. Click on the sector of your choice to learn more about the services available and attractions near each stop.

Saint-Raymond / Plateau (STO)

STO: Stop 2766/2701

  • Capital Pathway: The pathway entrance is a few metres from the stop.
  • Pioneers Trail: The trail entrance is approximately 400 m from the stop. To get there, take the Capital Pathway. The entrance is to the left, just before the Gatineau Parkway.
  • Lac-des-Fées Pathway: The pathway entrance is approximately 1.2 km from the stop. To get there, take the Capital Pathway to Gamelin Street, cross the Lac-des-Fées parking lot, and then take the Lac-des-Fées Pathway. Keep to the right to get to the Lac-des-Fées lookout.

Saint-Raymond / Cité-des-Jeunes (STO)

STO: Stop 2285/2287

  • Gatineau Park Pathway: The pathway entrance, located at the intersection of Saint-Raymond Boulevard and Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes, is approximately 200 m from the bus stop. To get there, take the sidewalk on Saint-Raymond Boulevard.

P1 Asticou (STO and Transcollines)

STO: Stop 2214/2212
Transcollines: Cité-des-Jeunes / Asticou

  • Trail 5: The trail entrance, located behind the Asticou Centre, is approximately 800 m from the bus stop. To get there, take the sidewalk through the Asticou Centre grounds.
  • Trail 67: The trail entrance is approximately 400 m from the entrance to Trail 5. To get there, take Trail 5 first and keep to the left. The entrance is on the other side of the parkway.

P2 Relais plein air (STO)

STO: Stop 2187/2188

  • Relais plein air / Trail 27: The main starting point is approximately 400 m from the bus stop. To get there, take the road through the Mont-Bleu sports complex and follow the signs.

Cégep de l’Outaouais (STO and Transcollines)

STO: Stop 2190/2194
Transcollines: Cité-des-Jeunes / Cégep stop

  • Trail 26: The trail entrance, located behind the Cégep de l’Outaouais, is approximately 400 m from the bus stop. To get there, take the sidewalk beside the parking lot. The entrance is to the right.

Cité-des-Jeunes / Hautes-Plaines (STO)

STO: Stop 2758/2760

  • Trail 5: The trail entrance is 1 km from the stop. To get there, take the multi-use pathway heading northwest on Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes.
  • Pink Lake Trail: The trail entrance is approximately 4.4 km from the stop. To get there, take Trail 5, turn right onto Trail 15 and then left onto Trail 35.

STO: Stop 2185/2189 (de la Cité-des-Jeunes / du Plein-Air)

  • Trail 41: The trail entrance is approximately 100 m from the stop.
  • Capital Pathway: The pathway entrance is approximately 100 m from the stop.

Alexandre-Taché / South Entrance (STO)

STO: Stop 2044/2046

  • Gatineau Park Pathway: The pathway entrance is a few metres from the stop.
  • Gatineau Parkway: The parkway entrance is a few metres from the stop.

Trail 71 (Transcollines)

Transcollines: Route 105 / Chemin Saint-Clément stop

  • Trail 71: The trail entrance is approximately 450 m from the stop. To get there, take Saint-Clément Road and then cross the Highway 5 overpass.

Visitor Centre (Transcollines)

Transcollines: Accueil CCN stop

  • Visitor Centre: The stop is located at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre.
  • Sugarbush Trail: The trail entrance is approximately 100 m from the stop. To get there, take the sidewalk that leads to the Sugarbush Trail bridge.
  • Village of Old Chelsea: The stop is in the heart of the village of Old Chelsea on Scott Road.

Notch / Mine (Transcollines)

Transcollines: Notch / de la Mine stop

  • Trail 79: The trail entrance is a few metres from the stop.

P17 (Transcollines)

  • Trail 72: The trail entrance is at the stop.
  • Trail 53: The trail entrance is at the stop.
  • Wakefield Mill: The Wakefield Mill is 1.4 km from the stop. To get there, go 1.4 km on Trail 53 and turn left on Trail 52 to the Wakefield Mill.
  • Brown Lake Shelter: The Brown Lake Shelter is 3 km from the stop. To get there, take Trail 53, turn left onto Trail 52, then turn left onto Trail 57 to the Brown Lake Shelter.

Wakefield Community Centre (Transcollines)

Transcollines: Wakefield Community Centre stop

  • Village of Wakefield: The stop is at the Wakefield Community Centre.

Route 366 West / Philippe Lake Parkway (Transcollines)

Transcollines: Principale Est / de la Beurrerie stop

  • Philippe Lake Parkway: The Philippe Lake Parkway is approximately 100 m from the stop. To get there, follow the signs in the Philippe Lake area.
  • Trail 53 (from Schnob Road): The trail entrance is approximately 1 km from the stop. To get there, take the Philippe Lake Parkway and turn left onto Schnob Road. The trail entrance is at the end of Schnob Road.

Good to know

  • Bicycles: Most buses are equipped with a bike rack during the summer; first-come, first-served.
  • Skis: Cross-country skis and poles are permitted on board STO buses outside of rush hour, i.e. between 9 am and 3 pm and after 6 pm from Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. They must be properly attached or held together and carried in a safe manner.
  • Strollers: Strollers are allowed on board STO buses.
  • Dogs: According to STO policy, only guide dogs and service dogs are allowed on board STO buses. In Gatineau Park, dogs must be on a leash at all times, and are not allowed on the Pink Lake or King Mountain trails, or in picnic areas in the summer, and on cross-country ski, snowshoe and snow biking trails in the winter.

Accessibility

Persons eligible for Paratransit registered with the STO or Transcollines may request transportation to the Park through the usual process.
