In the winter, the Gatineau Park team maintains 20 parking lots. They are open from 5:30 am to 7 pm.
Each parking lot provides access to one or more winter activities, such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow biking and hiking. The parking lots closest to downtown fill up quickly on the weekends and in good weather.
Please follow winter trail etiquette, and stay on the trails designated for your activity.
Although the status of parking lots is updated several times a day (on weekends only), the situation on the ground can change quickly. There are no guarantees that a parking spot will be available when you arrive. Always have a Plan B!
OC Transpo and STO provide connections from Gatineau and Ottawa to the Relais plein air (P2) and entry points in the southern sector of Gatineau Park (P1). On weekends only, Transcollines provides connections from Gatineau and La Pêche to the Visitor Centre and the northeastern sector of the Park (P17). There is a bus stop at the intersection of Highway 366 and the Philippe Lake Parkway (2.4 km from P19A).
Use the online planners provided by these public transit services to create your itinerary.
