Rideau Canal boat tour

  • Duration: 1.5 hours
  • Hours and language:
    • 9 am to 10 am: Bilingual (FULL)
    • 11 am to 12 pm: Bilingual (FULL)
    • 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm: Bilingual (FULL)

Meeting point

On the Rideau Canal West Pathway, behind the National Arts Centre. Look for the Open NCC tent close to the 1 Elgin Restaurant.

  • Car access: There is free street parking nearby, as well as paid parking at the National Arts Centre, City Hall and nearby municipal lots.
  • Cycling and pedestrian access: The site is accessible by active mobility. Unsupervised bicycle racks are available on the street.
  • Public transit: Major transit companies in the National Capital Region offer routes that stop near the start point. Use their travel planners to get there by bus.

Good to know

A washroom is available on the boat. Bring your own water bottle. Only guide dogs and service dogs are allowed on board.
