The Pinhey Sand Dunes are one of the most unique ecosystems in the National Capital Region. They are home to several species of plants and animals.
Join us for a guided tour hosted by the Friends of Pinhey Sand Dunes and Biodiversity Conservancy International to learn more about the insects that can only live in this sunny and exposed habitat. Our experts will also tell you about our conservation efforts and the lasting effects of the 2022 derecho.
