Pioneers Trail is located in the southern sector of Gatineau Park. This loop features interpretation panels that highlight the history of settlers in the Outaouais region and the Park’s forest diversity.
From spring until fall, Pioneers Trail is one of Gatineau Park's most accessible trails. It starts at parking lot P3 and follows a wide and hard-packed stone-dust path with some elevation gain and loss.

The enhanced mapping of this trail for inclusive use is a collaborative effort between the Canadian Disabled Outdoor Society (CanDO) and the NCC’s Advisory Committee on Universal Accessibility.
