Lane reductions on Champlain Bridge beginning Monday, August 10, 2026

There will be alternating lane reductions on Champlain Bridge as part of the Champlain Bridge lighting conversion project.

• Schedule: From August 10 to August 21, 2026.
  • Southbound traffic reduced to one lane from 9 am to 11:50 am.  
  • Northbound traffic reduced to one lane from 12 pm to 3 pm.  
• Location: Champlain Bridge.
• Impact on motorists: Traffic will be reduced to a single lane. Expect delays.
• Impact on pedestrians and cyclists: No impact.
