A section of the Ottawa River Pathway, near the entrance of Major’s Hill Park, along Alexandra Bridge Road, will be temporarily closed as of Monday, April 11, until further notice.
The closure is required for the removal of trees and the construction of a paved pedestrian and cyclist detour. This work is in preparation for the installation of a new pedestrian bridge, as part of the Nepean Point redevelopment.
The detour will be in place at the beginning of May 2022.
The NCC urges the public to exercise caution, respect working crews and equipment, and obey signage on-site.
