Nadya Roy-Forget is the director of Human Resources at the National Capital Commission (NCC). She has worked in the human resources field for 20 years. Nadya began her career at Domtar, then worked at CBC/Radio-Canada before heading to the core public service in 2006. She then moved on to other prestigious federal government institutions such as the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General from 2007 to 2015, the Privy Council Office in 2015, and the House of Commons in 2012 and from 2015 to 2019. In 2015, she received an award for service excellence from the Secretary to the Governor General. Hired by the NCC in 2019, Nadya’s expertise and accomplishments as chief of Human Resources and Facilities Management earned her a promotion to Director, Human Resources, which has been her responsibility since 2022. Nadya is a 20-year member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et relations industrielles agréés du Québec. In 2003, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from Université du Québec en Outaouais, and has recently gained several certifications, among them a certification for conflict resolution, workplace investigations and change management.
