Monica is a planner in the NCC’s Long-Range Planning Division. She joined the NCC in August 2022, bringing her experience planning in both the public and private sector, and at the local, regional and international scale. She holds a Bachelor of Community Design with Honours in both Urban Design Studies and Sustainability from Dalhousie University. She is currently working on the update to the Core Area Sector Plan.
