Minh Dao is an urban designer, currently working for the expert advice team of the Urban Planning and Sustainability Department of the Ville de Gatineau. Accomplished, engaged and a passionate professional, Minh has over 15 years of working experience in architecture, urban design and urban planning, in both the private and public sectors. In the past 10 years, she has been playing a key role in developing the design guidelines of downtown Gatineau, through the “Plan particulier d’urbanisme du centre-ville.” She currently coordinates key public projects and participates in the approval process of private development projects in the downtown core. Her passion is in the restoration of urban living, sustainable development and the design of public space in the urban environment. Minh holds a master’s degree in Urban Planning from the Université de Montréal with an emphasis in Urban Design. She completed a baccalaureate degree in Architecture at the University of Architecture of Hanoi in Vietnam, where she also worked as a teacher.
