Fei Wong is president of Taku Resort and Marina, on Quadra Island, British Columbia. As someone who enjoys visual arts, music and dance, and believes that arts and culture enrich the lives of many, Fei is a strong supporter of many facets of the arts community. She is a member of the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival Leaders Council, past chair of the Goh Ballet Vancouver Society and past member of the Vancouver Symphony Lovers’ Ball Committee. She is also a past board member of Educating Girls of Rural China. In 2010, Fei and her husband spearheaded community support for Simon Fraser University’s School for the Contemporary Arts in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, with the opening of the Fei and Milton Wong Experimental Theatre, a development which is the first of its kind in Western Canada. Earlier in her career, Fei interned in Dietetics at The Hospital for Sick Children, in Toronto. Fei has a degree in Home Economics from the University of British Columbia. Fei Wong has been a member of the Canadiana Fund since May 8, 2004.
