
On-ice amenities are grouped together at four different locations on the Rideau Canal Skateway: the rest areas.
All rest areas have universally accessible washrooms, as well as fire pits (on from Friday to Sunday), picnic tables and benches. Other facilities such as universally accessible, heated change rooms, and food and beverage vendors vary according to the particular rest area.

Lost and found
The lost and found is located by the change rooms at the Fifth Avenue rest area.
- Found items of negligible value will be disposed of daily.
- Any found items of value will be turned in to the National Capital Commission (613-239-5000).
