Westboro Beach is a key hub on the south shore of the Ottawa River. Proposed design

One of this project’s main components is to develop a new pavilion that will complement existing heritage buildings, while offering new amenities and services to users. During the most recent phase of public consultation in summer 2019, participants voiced their ideas and concerns in relation to proposed design improvements at Westboro Beach.

Drawing on the rich and diverse feedback provided by hundreds of participants, we’ve developed a design for the pavilion and landscape that aims to create a more vibrant, active area that will improve the quality of life of residents, and enhance the experience of visitors to the nation’s capital.
