Hog’s Back Swing Bridge Reopen
Canada’s Capital Region—Hog’s Back Swing Bridge reopened at 9am on July 30, 2021, to all traffic—pedestrians, cyclists and motor vehicles.
On July 23, the bridge closed due to a malfunction with the Hydraulic system. Repair work and troubleshooting has been completed and the bridge is now fully operational for all users including motor vehicles and Canal navigation.
