The National Capital Commission (NCC) is happy to announce the complete reopening of Jacques-Cartier Park South, following the rehabilitation of the site. The removal of the fencing around the grassed areas, which is the final component of the work, is now completed.

The NCC had undertaken the rehabilitation of Jacques-Cartier Park in the spring of 2020, because of significant damage to the land and infrastructure following major events that were held at the site. The public can now fully enjoy the southern sector of the park.
