The York Street Steps will be closed and fenced off for repairs.

• Schedule: Week of November 5, 2023, to early 2024
• Location: York Street Steps is a pedestrian corridor located between the ByWard Market and Major’s Hill Park.
• Impact on motorists: No impact on motorists
• Impact on pedestrians and cyclists: Please use the detour (walking to Sussex Drive) to go from the Byward Market to Major’s Hill Park. The bike lane on Mackenzie Avenue is not affected by the closure.
