Weekend of April 3 - 6, 2026

Last updated: Thursday, April 2, 2026, 10 am

Overall forecast

General trail conditions

Given the current spring weather conditions, most of the trail network will either be closed or not recommended this weekend. Conditions are marginal, with debris and exposed sections along the trails.

Walking trails will be recommended, while snow biking and snowshoe trails will not. All backcountry trails, as well as several ski trails, will be closed.

Following the warm spell and rainfall, the maintenance team will assess conditions early Monday morning to determine whether it will be possible to maintain a reduced network. This may be limited to the small parkway loop, depending on the remaining snow cover.

Please monitor the conditions updates on our web pages throughout the weekend. Please exercise caution and do not venture onto closed trails, as conditions may be hazardous.

Reminders

Always stay on official and marked trails, and only use those reserved for your activity. Please follow the winter signage at trailheads.

Please also follow trail etiquette. These rules are in place to ensure your safety, preserve the trails and park, and allow everyone to have a pleasant experience.
