A section of the Rideau Canal Pathway will be closed for infrastructure work.

• Schedule: from October 22 until December 18, 2026.
• Location: The lower pathway that runs along the Rideau Canal, between Laurier Avenue and Waverley Street.
• Impact on motorists: No impact.
• Impact on pedestrians: The Rideau Canal Western Pathway, along Queen Elizabeth Drive, remains open.
