Gatineau Park offers camping experiences to suit every style. From canoe-camping sites on beautiful La Pêche Lake to wooded campsites for tents, trailers or RVs, and ready-to-camp units at Philippe Lake, there is something for everyone!

Certain sites (Renaud sector and the majority of "B" sites in the Philippe sector) are equipped with electricity and running water.

Campsites

All campsites are equipped with the same basic amenities.

Amenities: Firepit with grill and picnic table, shared dry toilet within walking distance, and parking for one vehicle (three at group campsites).*

* For canoe-camping and certain tent sites, you’ll need to park in a designated area and walk or paddle to your site.


Canoe-camping sites

Paddle for 30 to 90 minutes to your site and enjoy a peaceful lakeside retreat. Canoe-camping sites offer the perfect mix of solitude and adventure. We even provide firewood for cozy evenings!

Tent, trailer and RV campsites

Enjoy a classic camping experience with a variety of scenic options, from private wooded sites to lakeside spots. There’s something for everyone: tent only, tent and trailer, or RV campsites. They’re perfect for anyone who appreciates the simplicity and beauty of nature.

*Electrified sites are equipped with two 120V outlets: one 30‑amp and one 15‑amp.


Group campsites

Designed for larger groups, these sites offer plenty of space to gather and enjoy the outdoors, making them ideal for creating lasting memories together.

Ready-to-camp units

For a bit more comfort without sacrificing the outdoor experience, our ready-to-camp units are the perfect choice! Choose from yurts, cabins or four-season tents, all thoughtfully equipped with basic amenities for a cozier stay.

Amenities: Bunk beds with mattresses, tables and chairs, pots and pans, solar-powered lights, wood stoves, refrigerators or coolers, propane burners (indoors) or barbecue, fire pits with grill, picnic tables, dry toilets, and parking space for one vehicle (two at the Philippe cabin).


New: Mini-Chalets

These 10 modern additions to the Philippe Lake campground offer a cozy and comfortable way to experience camping. Each unit has a separate bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a double bed*, a kitchen area with a mini fridge and a dedicated living room with couch and chairs. For cooking, you will find a propane barbecue outside the unit. There are no propane burners inside.

The units are equipped with electricity (lights and outlets), a wood stove and baseboard heaters.

* The universally accessible mini-chalet D21 has bunk beds and a single bed, for a capacity of 3 guests. D21 must be reserved either by phone (819-827-2020 option 2) or in person at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre.
