You can also explore Gatineau Park at your own pace with self-guided hikes and "My Adventures" activity booklets for children. 

School groups

Gatineau Park offers free guided activities for elementary school groups. Each activity is curriculum-based and consists of either a themed nature hike or an in-class presentation. The activities are led by qualified nature interpreters.

  • Time required: 60–90 minutes, depending on the activity
  • Languages: French or English
  • Cost: Free, materials are provided
  • Capacity limits: 40 to 60 students, depending on the activity

A snack/lunch area and an area to leave belongings are available for students at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre.

Reservations are required. Space is limited.
