As the largest landowner in the National Capital Region, the NCC has made housing a key component of its major development projects for many years.
Lands for Homes is the NCC’s new contribution to the Government of Canada’s efforts to identify lands that could be used to build more housing, including affordable housing, in the region.
There are currently 10 NCC properties on the Canada Public Land Bank. Together, these properties could potentially yield close to new 7,600 housing units.
