The NCC would like to invite you to a virtual meeting regarding the Bistro pilot project at Patterson Creek Park on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
In 2019, in partnership with local restaurant entrepreneurs, NCC launched a pilot project to enhance the experience of our urban parks and shorelines. As part of this project, we opened bistros featuring an assortment of food and beverage options in two locations: Confederation Park and Remic Rapids. A third bistro is proposed for Patterson Creek Park this season.
The objective of the virtual meeting is to provide you with an update on the project, including:
- Actions taken to address concerns expressed by members of the community and park users
- Heritage considerations, including the adaptive re-use of the Patterson Creek Park Pavilion
- Special measures related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic
You will also have an opportunity to share your thoughts about the new proposal and engage in group discussions.

6:40 – 7:10 pm: Presentation, Bill Leonard, Executive Director, Real Estate
7:10 – 8:20 pm: Discussion session and question period
8:20 – 8:30 pm: Closing remarks
In addition to this workshop, we will be holding an online public consultation from March 12, 2021 to March 25, 2021.
In order to participate, we ask that you register using the sign-up form and we will then send you the link to join the consultation. The session will be bilingual, and participants can share their thoughts in the official language of their choice.
