NCC Dedicates Park Bench to COVID-19 Front-Line Workers
Commission’s (NCC) Board of Directors meeting, Chief Executive Officer Tobi Nussbaum announced that a park
bench located in Major’s Hill Park is being dedicated to front-line workers in recognition of their
opportunity for individual Canadians to enhance the Capital’s symbolic value by dedicating existing park
, Confederation Park, Gatineau Park and along the Voyageurs Pathway.
With this dedicated park bench, we wanted to recognize their valuable work and commitment.
Stories of Our Past
In 1889, Ottawa had only one park: Major’s Hill Park.
Parks were a focal point of social activities, and Rockcliffe Park was no exception.
