Erin is a senior planner in the development review group of the City of Ottawa. Erin has worked as a professional planner in both the private and public sectors. Over the past decade, she has worked on the review of a number of controversial and complex development applications in the central area of Ottawa. Erin has presented to and worked with Ottawa’s Urban Design Review Panel countless times. Erin particularly enjoys working on the interface between the public realm and private buildings and the intricacies of streetscape design. She has also led numerous tours on foot and by bike around Ottawa, is a past contributor to Spacing Ottawa, led planning primer courses, and been a guest lecturer at the University of Ottawa on planning in the city. Erin holds an Urban Design Certificate from Simon Fraser University, as well as a Master of Planning from Queen’s University.
