We’re pleased to be reopening the Park for camping, and that people will be able to get out and enjoy camping this season.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NCC has established additional measures to protect the health and safety of campers and staff. These measures comply with Government of Quebec recommendations with respect to frequent cleaning of public places and signage. Your cooperation and responsibility are of the utmost importance.

The following measures are required by the Government of Quebec.
  • Any person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in contact with someone who has tested positive during the 14 days preceding their stay cannot be at a campsite. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 while you are camping, you must leave the area immediately and inform the campground operator, who will then engage the appropriate protocols. You must also contact public health authorities at 1-877-644-4545, and follow their directives, particularly concerning quarantine.
  • Only people living at the same address can camp together at a site, whether in their own camping accommodations or in a ready-to-camp unit. As a result, reservations for group sites will be cancelled. Groups from more than one household may reserve additional campsites to comply with this directive.
  • Outdoor gatherings must be limited to a maximum of 10 people from a maximum of three households.
  • Face coverings are mandatory inside public places: the campsite reception, washroom facilities and the convenience store.
  • All communal infrastructure remains closed until further notice, except for washroom facilities. Washroom facilities are only for the use of campers who have no other option in terms of their own equipment. Laundry facilities will not be accessible to campers. The following measures must be followed:
    • You must wash your hands before entering.
    • Do not exceed the total number allowed.
    • Keep a minimum distance of two metres from others.
    • Wear face coverings inside public places.
