Through hands-on experiences, games and activities, you will learn about the amphibians that live in Gatineau Park. The focus will be on frogs. Discover how well adapted they are to their environment, how they are threatened and how we can protect them.
This activity is best suited for children from 5 to 12 years old accompanied by a parent.
Where?
At the Parent Beach campfire pit.
From the Parent Beach parking lot ($), follow the signs to Parent Beach. Then, walk past the beach and take the footbridge towards Smith Beach. The campfire pit is located a few meters across the bridge on the right. Total walking distance: approximately 1 km round trip.

Cost
The activity is free, but parking fees are $13 per day.
This event is part of a series of nature interpretation programs at Philippe Lake. It is designed for campers, but open to the public.
