River House swimming

Discover water polo during a demonstration day at the NCC River House on Friday, August 7. Organized in partnership with the Ottawa Titans Water Polo Club and the Gatineau Water Polo Club, this activity is your chance to learn the basics of the sport in a fun atmosphere at an accessible site. Experienced players, members of the national team, and a former Olympian will guide you and show you the basic techniques of water polo.

Sasha Pamalarevic, a member of the NCC Board of Directors and a former Olympian at the Beijing Games in 2008, will be present to participate in the in-water demonstration and share his advice with the public.

You must be comfortable swimming in deep water. Flotation vests will be available on site.

The event is free of charge, and anyone can participate by signing upon site.
