The multi-use pathway in the southeastern section of the Mud Lake conservation area, and the pedestrian pathway along the Mud Lake trail in the area of the pedestrian bridge, will be temporarily closed. This work starts on April 18 and will be completed by the week of May 2nd.
The closures will allow crews to bring equipment to the site as part of the preparatory work for the new pathway and footbridge design. As part of geotechnical investigation work, drilling equipment will be used to collect soil samples in several locations along the southeastern section of the pathway.
The NCC urges the public to exercise caution, respect working crews and equipment, and obey signage on-site.
