A section of the Capital Pathway, between Westboro Beach and Selby Avenue, will be closed temporarily, from March 21 to April 8, for the removal of trees and invasive species.
Westboro Beach
- 17 trees
- 1,500 m² area of invasive species, primarily buckthorn
Atlantis Avenue
- 63 trees, five of which are dead
- 4,525 m² area of invasive species, primarily buckthorn
The construction zone will be fenced off and closed to all users. The NCC urges users to exercise caution, respect working crews and equipment, and obey signage and flag persons on-site.
This work is part of the Westboro Beach area redevelopment project.
