Sections of the Capital Pathway network will be temporarily closed in the evenings during the Casino du Lac Leamy Sound of Light shows.

On August 3, 6, 10, 13, 17 and 20, 2022 sections of the pathways will be closed and patrolled, to ensure safety in the following areas:

  • The Voyageurs Pathway on the Quebec side of the Ottawa River (behind the Canadian Museum of History), between Portage Bridge and the Alexandra Bridge, from 5 PM to 10 PM.
  • The Ottawa River Pathway on the Ontario side of the Ottawa River, from 7 PM to 10 PM
  • between Bank Street and the Ottawa Locks (behind Parliament Hill)
  • between the Alexandra Bridge and the Ottawa Locks (via Pioneer Road, below Major’s Hill Park)
