Wednesday, June 17, 2020 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Two feeder links providing access to the Ottawa River Pathway from Vimy Place, near the Canadian War Museum, will be partially closed on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, from 7 am to 5 pm, to allow the removal of dead trees.
The trees, eastern cottonwoods, are estimated to be between 40 and 60 years old. Urban stress, which makes the trees vulnerable to the incurable Valsa Canker, is the mostly likely cause of death.
The impact of the work to the public will be minimal. Safety staff will be on site to direct pathway users.
