Canada’s Capital Region — There will be lane closures on Colonel By Drive in both directions at the University of Ottawa underpass and the Corktown Footbridge from Monday, May 28, to the end of June 2018, for work to facilitate safer cycling and pedestrian crossings at the intersection.
The closures will occur in one lane at a time outside peak hours, between 9:30 am and 3 pm, weather permitting. Flag persons will control motorists on the open lane of Colonel By Drive while work is ongoing.
Rideau Canal Eastern Pathway

- The pedestrian and cycling crossings will be aligned with the proposed pedestrian and cycling pathways that are to extend through the tunnel beneath Nicholas Street and connect with the future uOttawa LRT Station and the University of Ottawa
