The Estate in Bloom

From August 4 to 6, 2018, the Mackenzie King Estate celebrates its beautiful gardens and landscapes with the annual event “The Estate in Bloom.”

Join us for the garden party of the summer! Take part in fun activities for the whole family, bring your picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Wear your favourite floral-themed clothing and celebrate the flowers and colourful gardens.

Former prime minister William Lyon Mackenzie King had a passion for gardening, horticulture and landscaping. A three-day garden party, “The Estate in Bloom” allows visitors to experience the beauty of the gardens he created at his residence in the heart of Gatineau Park.
