Spring comes early on the Eardley Escarpment. Meet our guide-interpreter at Champlain Lookout, on Sundays from May 14 to June 18. Discover how the arrival of spring affects the fastest member of the animal kingdom, a fern that is very rare in Canada, as well as a small, inconspicuous butterfly and the tree where it makes its home.
Park scientists are continually making new discoveries about the diversity, fragility and uniqueness of this ecosystem. Join us and learn more about the Park’s inhabitants, such as the peregrine falcon, which returns each year to build its nest on the rocky cliffs of the Escarpment.
