Repairs will be undertaken on the Voyageurs Pathway between the Champlain Bridge and the beach at Moussette Park, from Wednesday, July 10 to Friday, July 19.
Repairs are required on this section of the Voyageurs Pathway following the flooding earlier this spring. The work includes repairs to the shoulder and asphalt, as well as the installation of rip-rap.
During the work, some sections of the pathway may be completely closed to cyclists and pedestrians. Closures will be assessed according to the work to be done, and should not last more than one or two days at a time. Cyclists and pedestrians will be able to use the Ville de Gatineau bicycle pathway. Signage will be in place to advise of the closure and indicate the detour to follow.
The National Capital Commission (NCC) urges cyclists and pedestrians to exercise caution, and to obey flag persons and signage at the site.
