LeBreton Flats: Partnership issues within RendezVous LeBreton Group

National Capital Region—The partners in RendezVous LeBreton Group (RLG), composed of Trinity Development Group Inc. (Trinity) and Capital Sports Management Inc. (CSMI), advised the National Capital Commission (NCC) on November 8th, 2018, of unresolved issues within their partnership. The NCC Board of Directors will proceed, in consultation with the Fairness Monitor, as well as with key stakeholders such as the Government of Canada and the City of Ottawa, with next steps either within the established solicitation process or within a new process at the January 2019 Board meeting.

Negotiations with RendezVous LeBreton Group

The National Capital Commission’s Board of Directors today authorized the NCC to begin negotiations for the redevelopment of LeBreton Flats with RendezVous LeBreton Group, and to report back to the Board with a status update in November 2016.

Thousands participate in public consultation on LeBreton Flats

Canada’s Capital Region—Thousands of Canadians from the National Capital Region and across the country participated during two weeks of public consultation on the proposals to redevelop LeBreton Flats, one of the most significant urban development sites in the core of Canada’s Capital. A total of 7,939 Canadians filled out the online questionnaire. Eighty-two percent of respondents were from the National Capital Region, and 18 percent were from elsewhere in Canada. More than 3,000 Canadians attended the open house and presentations at the Canadian War Museum or via webcast. We had over 11,600 interactions on social media.

Two proponents submit proposals for the redevelopment of LeBreton Flats

Canada’s Capital Region—The National Capital Commission (NCC) has received detailed proposals from two pre-qualified proponents for the redevelopment of LeBreton Flats, one of the largest and most significant urban development sites in the core of Canada’s Capital. In alphabetical order, the proponents are as follows: DCDLS Group (formerly Devcore Group), RendezVous LeBreton Group.
